The Ontario Women's Hockey Association has been approached by the Toronto Maple Leafs with  an opportunity to have pictures of OWHA female hockey teams featured on their 2004-05 season tickets. Please note the following information adapted from a letter sent to minor hockey:

Another exciting and memorable season has come to an end, but the end of a year marks the beginning of preparation and plans for the next.  Concepts are already underway for the design of the 2004-2005 Toronto Maple Leafs season tickets and we are seeking your help with the creative direction.

The theme of next season’s tickets is a focus on the future of hockey and to highlight the young players of today. 

Throughout each page of our ticket book, our vision is to feature a single Ontario hockey team.  We would appreciate your every effort in finding an appropriate photo.  To go along with the photo we would like an accompanying brief description (50 words or less) that includes the team name and, if possible, outlines the team's accomplishments and describes how they personify the future of hockey. 

As the timeline is so tight and space is limited, we ask that a club only submit their photo to us if they are able to grant the Toronto Maple Leafs full rights and usage of the photo in a way that would not infringe on any privacy policies that your club holds.  Should your photo be used, I will email your Club Director a waiver form to be signed by this individual that gives the Maple Leafs the right to use the photo and description.  Your hockey governing body will be acknowledged by our team on the ticket.
 

ACTION:
We have attached the photo that the Leafs may wish to use in their ticket package.
Their turn around time is very tight. Please secure the appropriate approvals from all team members who appear in the photo and forward us your approval. If you do not wish this picture used, please advise immediately.
